In 2017, just four months after losing his beloved mother, Charles suffered a massive stroke that changed his life forever. Learning to walk again was only the beginning. Determined to rebuild both his body and his spirit, Charles turned his own journey into a powerful source of compassion for others.

Because of what he has lived through, Charles connects with clients on a level that few can. When he tells a client, “You’ve got this,” it carries the strength of lived experience — and inspires hope in every moment.

PCAs/CNAS allow patients to remain independent and in their own homes safely. Home Helpers Home Care offers competitive pay based on certifications and experience; plus flexible scheduling.

Job Duties:

Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Complete meal preparation assistance to include preparing meals, serving meals, cleaning up meal preparation areas, and assisting your patient with eating as needed and applicable.
Complete personal care assistance to include tub, shower, or bed baths, assist with dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Complete housekeeping tasks to include: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning out the refrigerator, and washing/putting away dishes.
Complete laundry tasks to include: washing, drying, folding, and putting away of all laundry. Performing laundry tasks at a laundromat, if needed.
Assist with running errands to include: grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, running to the post office, etc.
Rarely absent from work and is reliable, dependable, and shows up on time.

Job Requirements:

Valid driver's license/ State issued ID

Job description:
What is an ACT? An ACT, is an on call caregiver. The perfect candidate would already be a PCA or CNA, be 18 or older, have a current DL, have reliable transportation, current auto insurance, be able to pass a drug screen/background check, and have open availability.

This position is also not strictly in Grove. That is where our office is located.

You will be going to clients homes based on caregiver call ins.

Duties include housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship.

ACT is available at all times, day and night, during the 5 (or more) day period. ACT will travel to any client inside the offices locations. ACT must be available two weekends each month. Starting pay for this position: $18, pay is Bi-weekly. $100 monthly bonus.
