We also offer lakefront cottages for the independent lifestyle.

We are getting close to Halloween! Today we painted pumpkins for our contest on the 31st. We have some really great talent at Grandwood… soon I will post pictures of finished pumpkins and let you vote with a like!!!

Good morning Grandwood Family! We will be trick or treating here at the facility on Friday October 31st at 10am. We are accepting candy donations to hand out to the kiddos. Please if you would like to donate candy bring it to Skye in Activities or if you’d like you could just grab a bad for your loved one to hand out . Thank you I appreciate your time and efforts to always help us out with events.

What a fun day at Grandwood today. Started out with a little front porch sitting. Then we had donuts and coffee played a couple hands of cards. And then had a fun craft party with some great Halloween decorations being made then had some great help cleaning up

Don’t forget about our car show starting at 10am! Would like to see some of our community come and enjoy themselves! We have good music, a bouncy house for the kids and food. This is a free event!!!

Just a few pics of last night’s prom. What a great time shout out to Good Shepherd, Beth and Jasmine for lending us the expert skills of hair and make up. Our ladies looked even more beautiful than normal.

Today is the day! Looking forward to seeing all of our family and friends dressed up in their formal wear! Prom begins at 5 o'clock. We have hors d'oeuvres and a cake to serve! Come ready to dance have fun and enjoy our time together!!

✨ What a fun start to National Assisted Living Week at Grandwood! ✨

We kicked things off with a picnic, enjoying ham & chicken salad sliders, watermelon, cookies, and some outdoor games with the kids while our residents enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Monday we had our wheelchair & walker decorating contest 🎉
🏆 1st place: Dorthy
🥈 2nd place: Yvonne
🥉 3rd place: Mr. & Mrs. Knotten
We showed off the decorations, then had music and dancing with staff – such a blast!

Today was Talent Tuesday, and our staff & residents put on an incredible show:
🎤 Skye sang a beautiful “Lean On Me”
🎹 Elizabeth wowed us on piano
🧶 Pat shared her gorgeous crocheted blankets
🎨 Amanda showed her stunning paintings
🎶 Trevor sang “Hallelujah”
👩‍👧 Amber sang “Grandpa” with her granddaughter Adalee (so sweet!)
📋 Shawna proved organization is a talent with her HR list
🙌 Roxanne kept us laughing as Mcee, shared inspiring words, and closed with “Amazing Grace”

The days are counting down!!!

Grandwood was on the road again. Lunch group went to Ketchum Oklahoma for a tasty lunch. The buzz was that the peanut butter chocolate pie was one of the best. And of course, Thursday was crafts. We made some fall decorations. Lots of prep work going on for the assisted living week that’s going be filled with fun and treasured memories
