Friday the 13th isn’t bad luck. It’s old power.

A day where the veil thins just enough for intuition to sharpen and the unseen to feel a little closer. Historically tied to the Divine Feminine, reversal energy, and the kind of magik that doesn’t ask permission, today is a reminder that shadow and blessing often walk together.

If you work with signs, today is a good one to slow down, listen in, and stir with intention.
If you work with tools, today is a good one to cleanse, reset, and charge what you rely on.

And if you’re building your own craft, today is a good one to claim it.

The Modern Witch’s Cauldron is a teaching platform built by Melissa Stewart, the maker behind MotherHex — a ritual-rooted studio crafting beeswax, botanicals, and practical magik in Groveland, CA. This introductory session opens the path for modern witches who want to work with real materials, modern tools, and real transformation.
Melissa will introduce her method, explain the role of beeswax and botanical craft, and preview the hands-on sessions to come. You’ll learn how modern equipment, technology and small-batch ingredients become tools of ritual. You’ll also discover which materials Melissa offers through Witchsey — including beeswax, wicks, essential oils, and kits — and how to prepare for future sessions.
No materials are required for this session. Just bring your curiosity and your intention.
