Starting tomorrow, I'm running a tiny experiment over on my Patreon site.

I have been thinking about how to survive a world that seems dangerous and unpredictable, and I'm curious about what role my wellness practices can play in staving off despair.

For one lunation (one cycle of the moon), I invite you to practice daily. Practice whatever you want, for however long you want. One minute of mindful breathing counts. Running choreography for 90 minutes counts. Writing in your journal counts. Everything counts, as long as you're doing it with an eye towards your own wellness.

The new moon arrives on October 21 in the sign of Libra, inviting us to explore balance and harmony. On October 22, we creep into solar Scorpio season, and we'll be thinking about transformation and emotional exploration. Partner that with Halloween, the Witches' New Year, on the 31st, and I think we're situated nicely to run this delighful experiment.

I have a bunch of dance, yoga, and strength training resources on Patreon that you're welcome to use. I'll also be posting practice calendars and motivational tidbits, but what I'm really interested in is us talking about what happens when we approach time with deliberate intention.

I was interviewed by the Groveport Messenger about the .bellydancefestival . Some of my favorite pictures of me were taken when I’m teaching. I think it’s because I can tell that I’m completely in the moment, unposed and without artifice, always trying to show up for my students at 100%.
