What is a Special District? Short answer, its a district authorized by the state to provide specialized services not otherwise provided by a city or county... like CLSD! Initially formed in 1986 to provide emergency ambulance service to our remote communities.

We had a great time at the Point Arena High Career Fair this week, teaching the students about a future in EMS. We were joined by South Coast Fire Protection District and Timber Cove Fire Protection District who showcased futures in the fire service.
