Autism Anchor

Autism Anchor Online platform connecting caregivers with children on the ASD Spectrum. Share, vent and have a laugh or two.

This year one out of every sixty eight children will be diagnosed with a form of autism. While there are many incredible foundations working to find a cure, the fact remains: millions of families continue to seek answers to the heart wrenching, real life difficulties of managing the day-to-day care of their children. Autism Anchor's mission is to help caregivers and their children. We are here to help the families find real life, tangible and often times free services and events to help elevate the 30 hours it takes to effectively manage our children' diagnosis.

As someone who was adopted and who has a son with autism...this story completely shatters my heart and soul....💔😥

Like you, I ordered a fourth child that never arrived. I found myself at the hospital for a dozen weekly therapies and coming to terms with autism.

Dear Anchor Community: We are in uncharted territory...the structure we crave...but more importantly our children crave has been taken away...the support has been taken away..but unlike our children's diagnosis which is life long...this chaos shall pass...and I am praying daily that it will be sooner than later..let us know how you and your family are doing and how we can help in this time of need...

XO,
Paige

When Andrew Arboe was 25, he went through driver’s ed and got his license. “You must have a license to do stuff, you’re going to community outings, you need a license,” he says.
