Joei is back at it, doing a little demo to insulate and wire the entrance from the front porch. There was a patch in the floor, probably a heating vent. To level up the patch, they used some old newspaper pages, Boston Sunday Post, March 5,1939, 8 pages nicely preserved in color!

Backyard exploring. The photos do not show the depth of the steep bank to the water. Ferns are beautiful! There is a sturdy rope tied around the trunk of a tree for those who like to adventure down.
