Please join us in congratulating Mike with Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi as our February Employee of the Month. 🐶💙
Mike has been a dedicated GBHS pet therapy volunteer for several years and continues to go above and beyond for our patients and staff. He visits multiple times each week with his companions Doc and Brielle, bringing comfort, smiles and joy wherever they go.
Mike spends time with our patients and makes a point to visit our staff. He also supports GBHS at community and recruitment events as a hospital pet therapy volunteer. While he serves many other facilities, we are grateful for the kindness, compassion and positivity he shares with us.

Please join us in welcoming Shawn L. Walker, MSCC, USAF (Vet), as the new Patriot Support Program Manager at Gulfport Behavioral Health System.
Shawn brings more than a decade of honorable service in the United States Air Force, including work with the Presidential Airlift Group and U.S. Strategic Command. She also deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and later served as a criminal investigator.
With a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling, Shawn continues her lifelong commitment to service by supporting Veterans, First Responders and their families through our Patriot Support Program.
