💙 Celebrating a Graduation Day at the Clinic! 🎓
This little guy came to us at just 2 months old with a tongue and lip tie, difficulty latching, low weight and poor weight gain, low intake, and significant feeding challenges. His journey also included multiple formula changes, GI involvement, and chiropractic care.
Through the collaborative work of our highly trained SLP and OT team, we focused on:
✨ Positioning
✨ Stretching & strengthening
✨ Oral-motor and feeding skills
✨ Bonding and regulation
Our SLP is SOS Approach to Feeding Certified, Beckman’s Oral Motor trained, and has additional lactation education through Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center professional course. Our OT is SOS Approach to Feeding Certified, and an Infant Massage Coach with advanced training in breastfeeding and lactation support. Together, they created a customized plan that supported both baby and family.
Fast forward just 6 months later and this strong boy is now:
✔️ Within normal weight
✔️ Drinking from a bottle appropriately
✔️ Meeting all gross and fine motor milestones
None of this would be possible without his amazing parents, who took every recommendation, followed the home program, and showed up with love and consistency every single day. Your dedication made all the difference. 💫
We are so sad to see you go, but so incredibly proud to celebrate your discharge graduation and watch this little one thrive. 💙
