“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for your kindness this morning as it was one of the hardest things we have went through. Marley was our family pet of almost 17 yrs. We've had her since she was 6 weeks old. She was a special girl with a big heart. Thank you again for showing us such kindness in such a difficult time in our life. We will never forget your kindness that helped in such a difficult time in our lives.”

We were deeply honored to provide aftercare services for Fenn, a beloved companion whose story is one of love, rescue, and the unbreakable bond between a pet and their family.

From his mom, Carol:
"I want to thank you so much for taking care of my Fenny. He was absolutely my heart. You were so kind when I spoke to you that morning when he passed away. I would like to share some pictures of him at a happier time. Fenn had actually been dumped in a high kill shelter in Louisiana after the elderly owner passed away. Thankfully he was pulled by a lady in rescue and came to Mississippi to live. My husband and I adopted him from her. He was immediately my best friend. He slept every night curled in my arms. It’s been a hard week and a half not having my little cuddle bug. I miss him so much."

Fenn’s journey reminds us of the power of second chances and how pets find their forever homes right where they belong. He will always be remembered as Carol’s loyal cuddle bug and cherished best friend. ❤️

🐾✨ Honoring Skitty ✨🐾

At A Pet’s Memory, we are always humbled to be chosen to provide aftercare for beloved companions. We were honored to care for Skitty, a truly one-of-a-kind best friend. 💙

His family shared these heartfelt words:

“My sweet Skitty. To some, a regular black and white cat…but to me, my very best friend. I got him off of Craigslist in high school. I named ‘him’ Hazel Grace. That was until Hazel Grace had questionable parts and so Hazel Grace became Hank. Hank was his government name, but to my family and I, he was Skitty. ‘Stray kitty’ because I lied to my poor mom and told her I found this baby kitten in a ditch. 9 years wasn’t nearly long enough, and I’m heartbroken to think of all the years we didn’t get to spend together. I’m also grateful for the time we did have. He was the ruler of our house. He even bossed around our Saint Bernard. He was the best cat I’ve ever owned, and I’m lucky to have loved him. ❤️❤️”

Skitty’s story is a reminder of the deep bond between pets and their families—full of love, laughter, and memories that last forever. 🌈🐾

🌈🐾 Remembering sweet Annie today.

Her mom, Katie, shared these heartfelt words with us:

"Annie was a rescue, my friend rescued her from a situation where she lived in a kennel for a few years of her life. My friend homed her to me and she was an absolute once in a lifetime dog. She was always by my side, she was so smart and learned a few tricks along the way, and loved offleash hiking and swimming. Her favorite things were puddles and she’d always be the dog at the park playing in the water bowl. She loved cuddles and was up in my lap soon as she could, never had as loyal as a dog as her. I’m very sad her time was cut short with me, but I know she’s in a better place."
