We are so grateful for positive reviews of our practitioners! Thank you for this great review of Kyle Comin, CRNA and NSPM-C.

Many ask what all of his titles mean, so we thought we would take this minute to explain.

Nurses who hold the NSPM-C (Non-Surgical Pain Management – Certified) credential specialize in treating chronic and acute pain using minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures. When the nurse is also a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) — like Kyle Comin — they have advanced anesthesia training that allows them to safely perform interventional pain procedures.

Definitely let us know if you want us to do a post explaining what "Interventional Pain Management" means. We would be happy to explain!

❤️ February is American Heart Month! ❤️

This month, we focused on heart health — and what better way to make a difference than by learning how to save a life?

Last week, and the first week of February, Gunnison Valley Hospital partnered with Ava Jensen and our very own AEMT, Vikki McClaskey, to host a Community CPR Class. 💪

Community members showed up ready to learn hands-only CPR, AED use, and how to respond confidently in an emergency. Because when cardiac arrest happens, every second counts.

We are so grateful for Ava’s passion for heart health and for Vikki and other instructor's expert instruction in empowering our community with lifesaving skills.

🎥 Check out this reel to see highlights from the class and the incredible group who took the time to learn how to protect the hearts of those around them.
