Your prayers are working!

Update on Everleigh 10-23-25…..
Thank you all so much for taking time to pray!! God has certainly worked in her little body and answered prayers! She is doing soooo much better! Praise the Lord! Yesterday she only had minimal swelling and was feeling like playing and eating! Today she’s had her morning treatment which went good and only one left! Then she’ll be done with the radiation portion and tomorrow starts high dose chemo. I’m so thankful and grateful for your prayers and so thankful for how the Lord is working and answering!! Please continue to pray for her next phase of treatment and her back pain, it’s been much worse since the radiation treatments and hard to get under control. Thank you 💕❤️💕❤️
PS….she was insistent on making these necklace’s and is so proud of them 🥰

Update on Everleigh 10-21-25…..If the Lord lays her on your heart tomorrow please be praying for her 🙏🙏🙏. She is reacting to the radiation treatment 😢. It was very scary this evening, her jawline and soon after her whole face swelled up and she was in tons of pain, her back is also extremely painful. They’ve not seen a reaction like this to radiation in pediatrics they said, so we started giving her all the medication to treat allergic reactions. After talking with the radiation oncologist they found that this is a possible reaction to radiation and it is not an allergic reaction. So it could get much worse and won’t just go away with any medication. It is so important with her type of leukemia that she has these radiation treatments to go into the transplant…..so they are going to press forward with treatment and try to medicate her through the pain and discomfort and keep a close eye on her. She’s got Tylenol, ibuprofen, dexamethasone, and morphine in her to help her get through. But we still have 2 more days and 4 more treatments to go! Pray for the Lord’s protection and strength for her! God is good and we give Him all the praise for where we are! It’s so incredibly heartbreaking beyond words to see her go through this, yet God is with us every step of the way and a comfort always! We are so incredibly grateful for your prayers!!

Day 23/85 cycle 3/6

She had her follow up for her sleep study today. She has moderate sleep apnea, which they usually recommend having her tonsils and adenoids taken out. She will follow up with ENT in December if not sooner to see what they recommend. If they recommend surgery, we will have to Consult with her oncologist to see if that’s possible while she’s receiving treatment. If not, then she will have to use CPAP until she’s able to get surgery. 

She is still walking fine after our scare on Monday which is a huge relief! Next week she will get her monthly IV’s at the hospital.

Update: labs and X-rays and “normal!” We are home and she is walking around the yard and up and down the ramp. Thank you so much for the prayers!

Had to make a quick trip to the hospital this morning. After a long car ride yesterday, Charlie Ann is having trouble walking. Hopefully we will have some answers soon! Say an extra prayer for our girl.

Day 9/85 cycle 3/6
Long day but everything went great! We got VIP treatment and I was able to go back with her until she went to sleep. Lumbar puncture was done. Chemo was given. Ears were checked. Hearing test was normal! She woke up before they could get me back to recovery but is resting in my arms now. Thank you for all the prayers! So relieved today is done.

Day 8/85 cycle 3/6
Say an extra prayer for Charlie Ann (and her momma) as she goes to the hospital tomorrow. She’ll be getting her routine lumbar puncture with anesthesia but she’ll also be getting an Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Test which will add another hour under sedation. The lumbar puncture only takes a few minutes so we are not used to her being under that long. She hasn’t cooperated well enough while awake to get a good hearing test so we are taking advantage of her already getting anesthesia. Please pray for no complications and good results! Her stomach has been upset today so please pray that it resolves and doesn’t interfere with tomorrow. It’s taken about 6 months to coordinate tomorrow. Thank you all for your continued prayers. It warms our hearts to know so many are praying for her!

Update on Everleigh 9-8-25…..we’re here in the hospital today waiting to do a dye on her tubes because they decided to start leaking yesterday 😣. We also just got her scheduled for an MRI tomorrow….they said it’s the longest, deepest one they do and she’ll be sedated for at least 4 hours for it. She’ll also get a spinal tap while she’s sedated to check and see if the leukemia is trying to come back. Please pray for all the things going on and for Dr wisdom. Pray her procedure would go smoothly as well as for the results to look good 💕. Pray for her tubes also please 🙏

Day 84/85 cycle 2/6
Last night Charlie Ann had a sleep study. She was a trooper. We are seeing if her mild sleep apnea has changed any. Her follow up appt is 10/1 to discuss the results but it doesn’t appear to be worse which is good! Tomorrow she goes for her monthly IV antibiotics and IVIG. Her lumbar puncture will be on 9/18 so they can do a thorough audiology exam/test as well.
It’s been a busy but good summer! We were able to spend some time in Branson with family. Homebound School has started back and going great! She still receiving all of her therapies and has lots of drs appointments. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thank you all!
