Being fit and healthy has always been a part of me. I have tried many workout programs but failed to stick to them. I haven't been huge on healthy eating until recently I had many digestive problems. I am learning to make healthier eating choices and to love my vegetables. It has been challenging but I love doing anything to better myself. Here on my page you will find motivation to a healthy lifestyle as well as post about my faith, family and friends. This Beachbody journey is new and fun for me but I am excited to meet you all and get connected! I hope you can start your own Beachbody journey as well! Holy Cow! It has been a while since I last posted on here. I am so sorry guys. With me traveling back from Spain and spending some time with my family and flying to Florida I have been super busy! But GREAT news!!!! I am starting my workout program with an accountability group TOMORROW! So I will be back in business!! There are still spots available if anyone wants to be apart of the group! AVOIDING PROCRASTINATION: Procrastination is another serious barrier that stops us from reaching our goals. The root cause of procrastination stems from a problem with our relationship with ourselves, which directly implies a problem with our relationship with our Heavenly Father. It also stems from some sort of fear whether that be fear of failure, fear of success, fear of being controlled, and so on. Only you can start to change this destructive behavior but the Word offers you solutions to help you out. First, seek God regarding how to prioritize your schedule (Matt. 6:33). Then, submit all of your fears to God as you focus on the end result instead of the fear. CHALLENGE: 1. What is one main thing that you have been putting off in relation to your weight loss? *For me it had been working out. 2. What big step will you take today to break this spirit of procrastination? *Exercise! I started a workout program today and I am ready to put this destructive behavior (of putting my workouts on the back burner) to an end.

SUBMIT TO GOD: Have you ever thought about submitting your weight loss plan and goals to God? Can you imagine what it would look like? Admitting to Him your inability to do it without him? Asking Him to be your partner? These are all forms of submission. If we could lose weight (or rid ourselves of any other stumbling block) on our own, then we would not need God. Strong willpower, self-discipline, and self-control may help you reach your goal, but chances are the journey will not be enjoyable and definitely not sustainable. Instead of trying to do things your way and getting frustrated when things don’t work out just call on God. Submit your plans and goals to Him. God gives us a beautiful illustration of how He wants us to live with Him. So starting today, refuse to take another step in your health program without God.

CHALLENGE: List 5-10 behaviors/actions that your are engaging in that show your lack of submission in your weight loss program (or any other health changes). Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and read them aloud.

This is one thing I am trying to become better at especially since trying to kill of my Candida has been very, VERY hard for me mentally, physically and emotionally. Some days I am my worst enemy but when I turn to God I feel at ease and realize that I am going through this for a reason and He will help me overcome this battle. I strongly encourage you to turn to God and tell Him all your goals and desires for your health. He is all ears to you and can’t wait to hear what you have to say.

I’m gonna be so real with you all. I woke up this morning with my stomach super bloated. Last night I went out with a few of my girls and I know alcohol is one of the worst things for me while trying to kill my Candida but I had 3 drinks anyways (only 3!!!). Um hello I need to still live and be happy besides I’m only in Spain until May. Anyways, this is what happens to me (sometimes even bigger) whenever I have gluten, dairy, alcohol, and even sugar in general. I do plan to be strict on what I eat when I return to the states but for now I am gonna just watch what I eat but not say no to everything. Anyone else dealing with Candida? Let’s talk!
