Do you feel connected to your body? Sit down a moment and hold space for yourself. Find a comfortable spot in your house, close your eyes, and breathe. What do you notice? What signs is your body giving you today? Is your breathe slow or rapid? What about your heart rate? What thoughts are popping up in your mind? Do you have baggage you are carrying around with you every day? Can you identify the baggage? Do you know how long you have carried your baggage with you? Is it days, weeks, months, years, or decades? How does your baggage make you feel? Are you experiencing pains in your body? Where does it hurt? How long have you been experiencing pain? What does the pain feel like? When did the pain first start? What was happening around you when you first noticed the pain in your body? Sit with yourself and breathe. Ask your body what it needs from you.

Pick a cozy spot in your house to check in with your body. Relax, close your eyes, quiet your mind, and focus on your breath. How are you feeling physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Take time to connect with your body and describe how you are feeling. What does your energy feel like? How has it changed from yesterday or last week? Do you feel connected or disconnected from your body? Self-awareness is the key to moving our energy each day.

This time of year always makes me reflect back on the previous year. While the holidays can be a magical time for some people, it can be an incredibly painful time for others. This is a time where we can feel the most triggered from our past traumas. Relationships and family dynamics are complicated. While some situations in our lives seem unforgivable, we need to practice forgiveness on a daily basis.

I would like to invite you to join me chanting the Ho’oponopono meditation:

Stop watering dead plants, start matching energies, and notice the shifts. Focus on experiences that nurture your growth instead of experiences that keep you stagnant!
