Still a little blown away by this moment.

This past weekend at the Lazy E Arena during the Cinch Timed Event Championship, I got to spend some time with one of the best in the world — Erich Rogers.

After making the finals round, Erich handed me the cowboy hat he wore competing. That hat just became one of my favorite things I own.

Erich has long been one of the Navajo Nation’s top all-around timed-event cowboys, a World Champion Team Roper, and a 13-time qualifier to the National Finals Rodeo. He’s also one of the few true Ironmen of ProRodeo, competing across multiple timed events at the highest level.

One thing I respect about Erich is how seriously he takes recovery and preparation. When he’s competing here in Guthrie, he loves stopping by Strive Wellness Lounge for hydration and recovery so he can stay sharp through long competition days.

Champions understand recovery is part of winning.

In rodeo, respect means everything. When a champion like Erich gives you something he competed in, that means a lot.

Proud to have athletes like this competing right here in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
