This simple self-test reveals how stiff your thoracic spine really is. The higher your thumb reaches up your back, the better your mobility.
How to test:
1. Stand up straight with good posture
2. Reach one arm behind your back, thumb pointing up
3. Slide your hand up your spine as high as you can
4. Note where your thumb reaches
🔴 Red zone: Very stiff upper back
🔵 Blue zone: Decent mobility
🟢 Green zone: Excellent mobility!
