Mental health is often stigmatized in our society. We are taught to bottle up our emotions and act like everything is okay, when in reality, it might not be. This can lead to a build-up of negative emotions and eventually, mental illness. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of; it is a real and serious medical condition that should be treated with the same care and compassion as any other illness. One of the most important things you can do for your mental health is to surround yourself with positivity. This could mean spending time with loved ones, listening to upbeat music, or reading motivational quotes. Whatever makes you feel good on the inside, do more of that! Positivity is contagious, so the more positive you are, the more likely you are to make those around you happy as well. Mental health is something we should all take seriously, and positivity is a great place to start.
