Here’s a quick glimpse into a session with a collegiate pitcher dealing with a shoulder issue.
1) I love the deceleration drill to challenge the shoulder complex. We always think of training to throw faster, but what about the back side of the shoulder that needs to slow your arm down after release
2) Using cable work to train the same musculature. I like the split stance to try and replicate more of a throwing pattern
3 and 4) Simple progressive overload of the external rotators, mid trap and rhomboids
