Mindful Soul Center for Wellbeing is a counseling practice in South Jersey where people can connect to their inner selves and live whole-heartedly. Our specialty areas include counseling for women and tweens/teens with depression and anxiety; pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders; transition from divorce; healing and growth after trauma, grief, and loss; and recovery from substance use. Our therapists use many different modalities such as EMDR, IFS, Art, Music Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and more! We believe strongly in the importance of the relationship between client and provider and strive in matching clients with a provider who will be the best fit for their individualized needs and goals.

Whether it’s your first time setting foot on a college campus or you’re returning after a break, transitions can stir up a swirl of emotions. You might expect the second (or third) time around to feel easier, after all, you’ve done this before, right? But the truth is, each season of life brings its own challenges. What worked for you last year might not fit anymore, and that doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong, it just means you’re human.

I often think of college transitions like standing on the shoreline. You’ve waded into these waters before, but the tide, the current, and even the weather are different now. You still have to find your footing all over again.
