Kimberlie Wagner - Chief Executive Officer - has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years, with ten of those years being directly in home care. With a background in and passion for service to the elderly, Kim is unceasingly dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care possible is provided to each and every client. Before entering the home care field professionally, Kim began her experience with home care as a family member of a client, where she experienced firsthand how quality home care can be truly life changing. Kim is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator, giving her a unique perspective in understanding the benefits of living in your home versus moving to a facility. She looks forward to growing Haddon Home Care into one of the leading home care companies in the region and can’t wait to get to know you and your loved ones. Linda Brearley - Chief Operating Officer - has over 30 years experience taking care of the elderly. She is a licensed massage therapist focused primarily on massage for elder clients to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. Linda also cared for four of her family members in her home through the hospice experience. After moving to New Jersey from Washington State, she cared for her father-in-law and then worked as a caregiver for a local home care company. Linda quickly became frustrated with the office bureaucracy and low pay, which led her to become an independent care provider with a dream to create a better home care agency that gave the best possible care to clients by hiring, training and paying a decent wage to the caregivers. Haddon Home Care is the realization of that dream.

Treating hearing loss, even with a simple hearing aid, could help prevent dementia.

A large study of over 363,000 participants found that two treatable middle ear conditions — eardrum perforations and cholesteatoma — are associated with nearly double the odds of developing dementia, but that treating them with surgery or hearing aids significantly reduced or eliminated that elevated risk.

The Haddon Home Care team traveled to Washington, D.C. for Home Care Advocacy Day with Home Care Association of America to make sure lawmakers hear directly from the people doing this work.

We advocated for caregiver tax relief, access to skilled nursing, veteran care, workforce solutions, and more. Because federal policy decisions have real consequences for the people we serve. 🏛️

Imagine glasses that can see your world and whisper what to do next. That's exactly what a new AI-powered device called Wispy is doing for people living with early-stage dementia. The tech, which just won the prestigious Longitude Prize on Dementia, identifies everyday objects and guides users through daily tasks, with 3 out of 4 trial participants reporting a meaningful improvement in their quality of life.

⭐️April Hourly Caregiver of the Month: Wanda ⭐️

Our client's son says Wanda recently became part of their family as his mother’s caregiver, and from the very first moment, her compassion and dedication were unmistakable.

"In such a short time, she has brought us a deep sense of comfort and built a meaningful connection with my mother. This recognition is truly well deserved, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her."

Congratulations, Wanda!
