Serving as Practice Manager beginning in 2022, she has brought the practice forward in technological advancement and environmental awareness. Christine Samaroo M.S.W.

Christine Samaroo was a County Probation Officer for 10 years and a Federal Probation Officer, in the District of New Jersey, for 10 years, before retiring in 1999 from Federal Service. She functions as an office and practice assistant as well as the practice’s liaison for federal service. She is a great asset to our team!

Dr. Amber Samaroo Ph.D, LCSW

Dr. Samaroo established SJCA IN 1988. Over the years, he has worked tirelessly with a variety of private citizens, courts and probation/parole officers, parole boards and attorneys throughout the state. He has worked in various prison institutions, group homes and mental health agencies, both with adults and children. Dr. Samaroo is a recognized expert in sexual offender risk assessment and treatment, as certified by a number of Superior Courts in New Jersey, as well as the Civil Commitment Court for Sexual Offenders and the Mentally Ill. He has given expert testimony in criminal trials for both the defense and the prosecution. He has performed assessments and given expert testimony at the Megan’s Law Tier Classification Hearings. Dr. Samaroo is an active member in good standing with the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and adheres to their treatment ethics, guidelines and standards. Dr. Samaroo is currently accepting new patients.
