It is with a heavy heart that I write to you all, The Flexible Farmer will be closing. With the extended closing due to the need to remain safe during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic the business, like many others, has not been able to stay financially stable. There is no clear path to re-open in a way that could work for Deb or myself in the near future.
It was my hope that once the regulations for opening Massage Practices were released and schools had firm plans for the fall, Deb and I could re-open. However, the uncertainty around school and childcare means it would be near impossible for me to have a consistent schedule. Furthermore, the regulations of safety protocols for LMTs are, understandably, strict and not ones the business has the financial or scheduling means to implement in a thorough and competent way. Though The Flexible Farmer is closing and I will no longer be offering massage, Deb is continuing her career as an amazing LMT and will happily be available for clients of The Flexible Farmer. Please contact Deb for more information.
This decision is not one that I have made lightly, as I care deeply for all of you and continue to feel inspired by you. It was the foundation of this massage practice to be of service by helping your working bodies to rest, recover and feel better. It is my hope that you will contact Deb or seek out LMTs in the area that are courageously and safely opening. Running this business for the past 7 years has been a joy and a blessing. That is purely because I had the pleasure of meeting, knowing and caring for all of you.
With gratitude,
Lydia
