Good morning Tristate!
Due to the impending weather, our office will be closing @12 noon. We have made arrangements with our patients to move appointments earlier in the morning for their safety and the safety of our staff heading home to their loved ones.
We strongly urge our patients that may be having any URO issues to call our office as early as possible for care, otherwise you may need to seek care at an urgent care center or ER.
At this point, our doors will be open as usual tomorrow morning unless otherwise ordered by our physicians.
Please, if you do not have to come out... don’t! Stay safe and warm today!

Good morning everyone! We at the Urological Center would like to take the time to say we appreciate all of our patients! We care deeply about you and wish you all are safe! So in saying this, we would also like to continue to keep you and our staff me members as safe as possible! We are now limiting the type of office visits and patients we see in the office setting. We are currently ONLY seeing patients on an emergent basis. All routine follow ups to discuss test results, lab results, medication reviews etc. Will be offered to delay their appointments a few weeks OR you can call our schedule desk and be set up for TELEMEDICINE. This has been implemented in our office and has been working quite well for our patients! Many medical practices are offering this service as well! If you are concerned about leaving your home and feel this is a great option for your needs please call 301-733-0022 option #3 to make arrangements for the set up needed to act on this! This is a great option for so many people amidst the COVID-19 epidemic. Good afternoon everyone! We at The Urological Center would like to update on the COVID-19 situation and our safety practices.

We are currently following all CDC protocols for this virus as well as taking extra precautions implemented by our infection control members in the office. We are urging ALL patients, family members who transport the patients to make a call to our office if you have travelled out of the country or to announced HIGH RISK STATES within the last 30 days, suffering from fever of 100.0 or higher, have been exposed to anyone of high risk as mentioned above. If at any time you are in doubt about symptoms you may be experiencing... we strongly urge you call the COVID-19 Care Line at 301-790-9170 ASAP.

We are currently continuing to see our patients and will be offering patients that meet certain criteria a program called TELEMEDICINE. This program is similar to a FACETIME call and can be downloaded on all phones. Please feel free to contact our office to see if your upcoming appointment meets the criteria for this type of physician care. We can be reached at 301-733-0022 option #3 for assistance in this area.

We will keep you updated as criteria changes for the office... until then... please avoid highly populated areas, stay home if able, wash hands frequently, refrain from touching your face and use hand sanitizers when in public areas! Please stay safe and take care!
