Today we celebrate nine incredible years of having one of the most dedicated, compassionate, and talented leaders on our team. Erin, as our Clinical Director, you pour your heart into everything you do guiding our staff, supporting our mission, and making Lasting Change truly lasting.

Harvest Connections Fair!
This past weekend, Lasting Change was grateful to take part in this community event. A few of our women joined Rachelle, our Peer Support, to help set up, share information about our program, and connect with other organizations. It was a great day of resources, support, and community connection!

Last week our ladies spent the day volunteering at It's A Blessing to be A Blessing! 💜

We rolled up our sleeves and made over 100 PB&J sandwiches for their Bagged Lunch Program, and helped assemble the snack bags that go along with each lunch. It was a joy to support their mission and give back to our community in such a hands-on way.

Mama D shared how much she appreciates the hard work and positive energy our clients bring — and even invited them to choose a few donated items as a thank-you. 🫶

We are so grateful for partnerships like this that help our women learn the value of service, connection, and spreading kindness.

Yesterday, Lasting Change attended the Regional Manufacturing Roundtable at the Bowman Training Center, with engaging discussions about apprenticeships, employer initiatives, and the hiring challenges manufacturers face—particularly those tied to high school and college education—and to share information about our workforce development program.

Our program participants represent an often untapped source of dedicated, motivated workers who thrive when given a second chance. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with local leaders who share a commitment to strengthening our community’s workforce!

This week our clients volunteered at Girls Inc. to make sure the girls have a clean, safe space to play! We wiped down and sanitized toys, swept and mopped the floors, cleaned tables and chairs, and even tackled the bathrooms.

It was a productive and rewarding day at Girls Inc., and we’re so proud to give back to an organization that does so much for young girls in our community! 💪💜

What an exciting afternoon for Lasting Change! 🌟
Today we hosted our very first job fair — with over 10 employers in attendance! Our clients had the opportunity to meet and talk with potential employers, fill out applications, and several even received job offers on the spot. 🙌

A huge kudos to Kim and her team for organizing such a successful event. The energy in the room was incredible, and it was amazing to see everyone so motivated and excited for the opportunities ahead! 💼✨
