Today is Giving Tuesday—a day created to encourage people to do good. For many, hospice care brings peace, comfort, and the chance to create meaningful memories when time is limited. For Deborah Johnson, a Hospice of Washington County patient, it also meant reliving a cherished part of her past—the Great Frederick Fair. With the support of her care team and her devoted sister, Linda Reed, Deborah’s hospice journey has been filled with compassion, dignity, and one unforgettable wish fulfilled.
Thanks to generous community donations, Hospice of Washington County provides essential care to every patient, regardless of ability to pay, bringing comfort, connection, and deep gratitude to families like Deborah and Linda’s. “So many people can benefit from this support,” Linda says. “It’s made such a difference for us.” To learn more about Hospice of Washington County or to make a donation that helps patients like Deborah, visit https://hospiceofwc.org/giving/donate-now.
