Main Street IME Physicians is pleased to announce the beginning of our “Virtual IME TM “ service through the HIPAA compliant doxy.me platform.

The current COVID crisis has put a strain on all aspects of our economy but most significantly , our employees. Their health and well-being are critical to the success of our businesses. Whereas traditional medical services are gearing up to provide necessary disease related issues, our injured workers are feeling a bit lost. Many practices are restricting hours and accessibility. Work notes are becoming problematic, therapy sessions are being postponed and approvals for necessary diagnostic studies are being delayed.

Remote services such as telemedicine and record reviews can keep the wheel moving and help optimize care for injured workers during this crisis. As the crisis is resolving many medical practices will necessarily concentrate on acute care and will decide that they can no longer provide timely IME assessments .

Although all issues may not be amenable to a virtual visit, this may well become the new normal in the post COVID medico-legal arena.

Beginning Thursday April 9,2020 Main Street will offer our Virtual IME TM service to our clients. Dr. Ralph Salvagno ,our owner and medical director , will offer orthopaedic IMEs initially. We plan to offer virtual exams by our other providers in the near future. We continue to offer record review services by all providers at this time.

Using the doxy.me platform clients will not have to load a program onto their phone or laptop. The will receive a link to paste into their browser. It’s as simple as that.

It is our hope and plan to return to in-person IME service in the near future. In the meantime , we will continue to pursue innovative options for the benefit of our clients.

Holiday Dinner with the Main Street IME family (minus a few doctors.) I love my job! We have the BEST doctors anyone could ever ask for! Thank you Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Moore, and Dr. Bartoszek. You have help our company grow so much in 1 short year. You honestly are the BEST! Dr. Salvagno this all happened because of you! We are forever grateful for the chance you took to start this company, along with the chance you took on letting all of us be a part of this journey. Thank you so much!
