Here, have a glass of Kangen Water.

What is Kangen Water you ask?

Considering this is one of my favorite things to talk about....
I'm glad you asked!
It is Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW), and can be created from your own kitchen sink!

But what is ERW & why might this be important to you?

Well, ERW is living, structured, hydrogen-rich water that is created via electrolysis. There is an innovative technology that was created in Japan almost 50 years ago that starts off by filtering your tap water (getting rid of many of the contaminants while keeping the naturally-occurring minerals) and then continues on to ionize your water. This ionization creates alkalized water that is structured & antioxidant-rich due to its high concentration of diatomic molecular hydrogen!

ERW is a healthy alternative to regular tap and bottled water.
Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW) or hydrogen water, begins as tap water. It is then filtered to remove chlorine and other impurities from the tap water and then separates the hydrogen and oxygen through electrolysis. This process donates electrons and essentially creates new molecules called diatomic molecular hydrogen, or h2, or molecular hydrogen. Molecular hydrogen is a very effective antioxidant so when you drink Kangen Water®, you are drinking antioxidant-rich water!

An oxidant, by definition, is an oxidizing agent, while an antioxidant is any substance that acts to slow or prevent the oxidation of another chemical.

Beautiful Lake George.

The Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC) will hold a special event featuring the book Stewards of the Water on September 10 from noon until 2pm, 7 Lapham Place, Glens Falls. LARAC is currently featuring an art exhibit by the water colorist, Tom Ryan, who illustrated the book. Ginger Henry Kuenzel, one of the book's authors, will join other authors to discuss the work of Lake George stewards of the past and those of today. Signed copies of the book as well as Tom Ryan's artwork will be available for sale. The event is free of charge. Wine and cheese will be served.
