It may be April Fools Day, but the most special thing we are celebrating is Olen who keeps everything running smoothly around here. I truly don’t know what we’d do without you. Your hard work, dedication, and the way you genuinely care about helping families make you such an important part of what we do every day. I am so grateful for you, not just as an employee, but as a person and a friend. Happy Birthday, Olen!

Hahira friends — we have a new gem in town! RT Kitchen is officially open and it is DELICIOUS. They have a rotating menu, amazing food, and the sweetest owner ever. Meet the owner, Courtney Davis, who has put heart and soul into the space AND the food. I’ve been waiting for this day for so long!
Let’s show them how Hahira welcomes new businesses — go eat local this week!

Monthly one-on-one performance review with my employee…
He insisted we hold it off-site at the Mexican restaurant in Hahira for “morale purposes.”

So far his strengths include ordering queso without hesitation and maintaining strong consistency in his ability to put multiple tacos away efficiently.

Areas for improvement? Still looking, but so far he seems to be pretty perfect. 😜

Since January 1st of this year we’ve insured approximately 29 lives. We do a lot of things in our day, but if I’m being honest it’s one of my most favorite and cherished job we take care of for our customers. Sure, people get excited when we save them money on their home and auto, but the most impactful thing we do is to provide them with the promise that should something happen to them that their family has time to grieve, and their standard of living can be maintained. I’m super proud of the hard conversations we have with people daily.
