Not all emotions disappear just because we push them down.

The “Beachball Analogy” reminds us that avoiding painful thoughts and feelings may seem easier in the moment- but it takes energy to keep them beneath the surface. And eventually, they rise back up, often with more intensity.

Healing doesn’t come from suppressing emotions. It comes from learning to acknowledge them, accept them, and move forward with compassion for ourselves.

Outreach in action!

Our 988 MCORT (Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Team) spent time at Joseph's House in Camden bringing crockpots and canned soup to local community members.

988 is a 24/7 National Su***de & Crisis Lifeline - our mobile team responds in person to support individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises.

Crisis response isn’t only about the moment of emergency, it’s about building trust, meeting basic needs, and showing up with dignity and care. 💚
