Hope everyone enjoys this light workout. In order to beat the heat I wanted to slow things down today and focus on fighting muscle rigidity. It is important to take time to stretch all of our muscles and move our bodies. If we want to maintain our range of motion especially with PD we have to work on it. This workout we start with the head and quite literally work out way down to our toes.

Sign up for a our 7-day free trial and see our extensive video library full of fun and exciting workouts designed for those with PD and suitable for all ability levels.

Often times I like to practice moving quickly in order to help fight against bradykinesia and slowness of movement. But did you know that by actively trying to move super slow you help strengthen your muscles physically and by continuously keeping your brain connect to that body part and moving it slowly you are able to strengthen the neurological connection between your brain and those muscles groups.
