🍂Our residents loved the first Ranger ride so much, we just had to do it again, this time in the fall! We soaked up the crisp autumn air, admired the colorful leaves, and cruised the trails in style. The adventure started at Gary Pines, then took us to Fertile, where we filled up on delicious food at Erickson’s Smokehouse and couldn’t resist grabbing cookies and donuts from Opdahl’s to sweeten the ride home. What a perfect fall day!🍁

We were HUNGRY! One of our favorite spots West Main Pizza! We enjoyed some pizza, breadsticks, tacos & MEGA nachos with some 1919 root beer in frosty mugs. Ready for a nap after was an understatement 😉

Residents had an unforgettable time enjoying a picnic and adventurous Ranger ride through the scenic Gary Pines! So much fun, we decided to go all the way to Opdahl’s Donuts riding the ART! Along the journey, we soaked in the beauty of towering trees, magnificent flowers, lively birds, open fields, and unique sculptures. It was the perfect day to connect with nature and savor the outdoors!

Allen was excited to tell us that telephone poles are often made from pine trees.

Kathy and Mary thought it was a beautiful ride and couldn’t imagine what it would look like in the fall.

As we pulled into Fertile, Bruce was excited to share with us that he used to own a restaurant in Fertile. Little did we know that the restaurant he used to own actually is where Opdahl’s Donuts is now located!

Nate shared with us that we are close to the Deciduous Forest Biome line and shared a little information about Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, and Tallgrass Prairie Biomes.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Nicole Nogowski for assisting us today; Chad & Erika Ruud and Kel & Margie Krueger for letting us borrow your Rangers; Bolton’s Bubbles for donating car wash tokens to cleanup the rides afterwards!! It is very much appreciated! We very much enjoyed our outing!!
