The Forest Keepers

The Wolf never walks alone.
In its eyes lives the shadow of Raven,
and in Raven’s wings,
echo the howls of ancient dreams.

Both were born from the mist,
where ancestors spoke in wind-tongues,
where the forest never forgot the first footsteps
pressed into soil like whispered prayers.

Wolf is the keeper of silence.
Raven, the whisperer to fire.
Together, they guard memory
of the first one who looked up
and heard their name in birdsong.

Not all legends are told in words.
Some only live
between a glance
and a nod.
Like Wolf and Raven
