Good Friday morning,

Yeah!! I'm back in the classroom this week for our Saturday Morning Radiance Yoga.

With the start of September we have already felt a bit of a cool down, and a welcome relief to the heat we had last week. That being said, this is a great time of year to start to slow down a bit. We need to release some of the intense heat that has built up in our bodies.
For tomorrow's class we will work with a slow-paced all levels Hatha sequence that will offer deep release in our neck and shoulders. With variations to some of the familiar poses we take the time to allow the body to open, release and cleanse.

Good Morning,

Join me tomorrow morning for this breath focused asana (physical postures) practice. We will focus on the development of pranayama, moving through asana with the breath. What asana is to the body, pranayama is to the mind. The effects are much deeper than asana alone. We will work with lengthening the inhale, lengthening the exhale and breath retention. This is really the heart of pranayama to expand as well as control the breath. The fastest and most profound way to affect the mind is with the breath.
