📢 Columbus Day Closure Notice:
The Ashley County Courthouse, Crossett Annex, Road Department, Landfill, and Rural Garbage Services will be closed on Monday, October 13, 2025, in observance of Columbus Day.

👉 Rural Garbage Customers:
If your regular pickup day is Monday, your trash will be collected very early Tuesday, October 14th. Please place your garbage out the night before and leave it curbside until it has been collected.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you to any and everyone who helped make this rainy rainy Memorial Day celebration special. Even with cancelling the Ceremony and only having the fish fry; it was AWESOME! So many showed up and I am SO thankful to be able to serve and honor you all. Special thanks to Judge Jim Hudson and wife Denise Hudson for the cooking.
