Life isn't a checklist; it's an experience!
At the end of every year, I always review the goals I had set to accomplish. I go over what worked, what didn't, and then create my goals for the new year. But this year, I'm doing something different. My goal, or choice, is to be happy! What is the point of setting and completing goals only to feel unsatisfied? Natural law tells us that in order to manifest what we want, we have to be happy first. Good things follow good emotions! It's easy to focus on our to-do list and not take time to do an activity that we enjoy.
I like to paint - that doesn't mean it looks good, but I enjoy it. I love to play the flute because I love music. Put things into your daily life that make you happy even if it's for 5 minutes, like journaling or doing a word search. It is all self-care, and self-care is crucial not indulgent. Do things that will support your Well-Being this year!
