Founded in 1980, Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a 153-bed facility offering short-term rehab, long-term skilled nursing, and specialty care programs. Founded in 1980, Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a 153-bed facility located in Hamden, in close proximity to all local hospitals. Through the years, Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center has continued to grow and evolve to meet community needs, and today offers a full continuum of care, from temporary respite stays, to short-term rehabilitation, to long-term skilled nursing care, as well as a broad array of specialty programs and services. Moreover, our convenient location provides immediate access to hospital specialists in virtually every area of medicine, as well as emergency care, should it be required.

Last week, Neisha from our recreation team led a wonderful fall painting session, inviting residents to create their own versions of autumn trees and colorful leaves 🎨🍁

The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and such beautiful artwork from everyone. Each piece had its own charm, and we’re so proud of the amazing job our residents did.

Our Recreation team hosted a truly touching Veterans Day Program on 11/11, honoring every resident who bravely served our country with a special pinning ceremony and a certificate of appreciation 🇺🇸❤️

It was a powerful afternoon filled with gratitude, pride, and reflection as we celebrated the heroes who call our community home. A warm thank you to Amber and Kayla-Rose for their beautiful rendition of the national anthem, adding even more heart to an unforgettable day.
