The holidays often bring families together-sometimes for the first time in months. After visiting mom and dad, many adult children return home feeling a mix of comfort and quiet concern. You may have noticed little things:
* the fridge wasn't as full as it use to be
* mail was scattered and unopened
* small household task felt harder for them
* they missed doctors appointments

Transitions into the Season!

This week we got things done! A month ago my client was determined to stay home, mostly because of the barriers and the thoughts of moving to assisted living was overwhelming to him.
One by one we knocked down all the barriers, he is now safe in AL with his wife. I will continue to help, with all the little things.

What we do goes far beyond errands and appointments. It’s about being truly present- offering genuine companionship, meaningful conversation, and a caring heart that brings light into everyday moments. Through connection, laughter and understanding, we make ordinary days feel a little more special.
• You might find me at grocery store debating on who has the biggest grapes! Running to multiple grocery stores because that’s what they did their entire life.
• Often, it’s about preserving a person’s dignity – knowing when to step back to make their own choices, while still being close enough to offer support when it’s needed the most.
•There’s something deeply special about meeting a client at a doctor’s appointment, assisted Living, or other care settings - seeing the relief in their eyes, knowing they’re not alone and having someone they can truly count on.

Emerald Home Care is a personal care agency who has a dedicated team of care coordinators, home health aides, companions and office staff trained to meet you needs. We service Mercer, Burlington, Monmouth and Ocean counties. We are fully licensed, insured and bonded. All of our staff go though on-boarding process, including infection control and Covid- 19 protocols and procedures,a criminal back ground check, and reference verification.

How it works? Schedule a free in-home assessment by our Care Coordinator, who will help determine your need. We have many different types of service from our check-in services weekly or our 24 live in care and everything in between. Schedule your first visit.

When Home Care is no longer an option.

We are a full service placement firm for older adults, when home care is no longer a option,we will work to find the best possible placement for you or your loved one. While other placement services work for the Assisted Living, we work for you. We can help in many ways including touring various facilities, helping with gathering paperwork and explaining step by step the process. We understand this might take time to find the perfect Assisted Living or it may take time to convince your loved one that is the best move.
