Thank you to our incredible community partners!

As we enter the season of gratitude and prepare for Thanksgiving, we reflect on the importance of our local community partnerships. These deeply-rooted connections are an extension of our mission “to be the people, places and programs that nurture the spirit of life,” both inside our walls and beyond.

With 28 locations in five states, each Juniper community has woven its own unique tapestry of ties to the local community. These partnerships are vast and varied. Elementary schools, universities, dance studios, breweries, bakeries, theatres, outdoor clubs, churches, animal shelters, libraries, athletic teams, artists, non-profits, and so many more come into our communities to create experiences that meld passion with purpose.

Through these partnerships, we’ve been able to:

🔹Foster a deep sense of connection and belonging for everyone involved
🔹Offer vibrant programs and impactful experiences for both Juniper residents and the broader community
🔹Give back through volunteerism, shared wisdom, friendship, and community spirit
🔹Combat ageism and challenge stereotypes about older adults and senior living

The Pumpkin Path Halloween event at Juniper Village at Hamilton was a sweet success!

We had a magnificent time celebrating with children and families, featuring great music, fun games, and even a fantastic costume competition. Residents especially enjoyed handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters and seeing all the amazing costumes!

A special thank you to Abbas from our partners at Embracing HospiceCare NJ, for joining us that day. It was a truly magnificent afternoon!

Juniper Village had an amazing visit from TheraPonies, an up-and-coming animal therapy organization! The entire community was delighted by the ponies' presence. The visit was truly heartwarming; one Wellspring member was brought to tears of happiness after the ponies sparked fond memories of her grandchild's first birthday. What a precious moment!

At Juniper, we are incredibly fortunate to have such knowledgeable, friendly, and caring associates, and our wonderful Executive Director, Shanna Garland, truly embodies these qualities. Her leadership has been instrumental in setting a new standard of care and communication here at Juniper.

We recently received heartfelt feedback commending Shanna for doing an outstanding job and for the time she dedicates to assisting families. Her vested interest in residents is clear: she is quick to respond to all inquiries and consistently goes above and beyond to meet with families, answer questions, resolve issues, and provide referrals.

Shanna’s approachable, friendly, and caring demeanor makes her a true asset to our community and a breath of fresh air for the families she supports.

The final day of National Assisted Living Week was a true adventure!

We closed out the week with a grand finale: an Indiana Jones Adventures theme! Our community navigated a day filled with thrilling games and challenges, posed for a grand photoshoot, and finished with an epic social. It was a perfect way to end the week's festivities!
