This podcast is great. Were your parents present and made sure you had a roof over your head and food in your belly? But maybe your most basic emotional need wasn’t met. This doesn’t make them bad parents, but can answer a lot of questions about why you can’t feel happy today even though you have a great life!

🍁 Fall feels like the season for fresh starts — and that makes it a beautiful time to find the right therapist.

There’s something about the cooler air and changing leaves that invites reflection. Life slows down just enough for you to check in with yourself — to notice what’s working, what’s heavy, and what you’re ready to release.

Therapy can be a cozy space to do exactly that — to process, heal, and grow as you head into the holidays and a new year. 🌿

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for support, maybe this is your gentle nudge. Change is in the air — and it can start with you. 🤎

Do you ever ask yourself, "Why do I always react this way?" There is always a reason, are you curious as to why?

Hypnotherapy can actually be quite supportive during the Fall, especially if you notice mood shifts, low energy, or even anxiety around the seasonal transition. Here’s how it can help:

Ways Hypnotherapy Supports Mental Health in Fall

Reframing Seasonal Change
Hypnosis can help you associate fall with calmness, renewal, or comfort instead of heaviness or loss. It works on the subconscious level to shift how your mind interprets shorter days and colder weather.

Boosting Mood & Energy
Guided suggestions can encourage your brain to “activate” feelings of motivation and vitality, helping counteract seasonal sluggishness. Some sessions even use imagery of light and warmth to support a positive mindset.

Managing Seasonal Anxiety or SAD
Hypnotherapy often includes relaxation techniques and positive visualization. These reduce stress hormones, regulate sleep, and ease anxious or low moods tied to darker months.

Creating Healthy Routines
Hypnosis can reinforce new habits (like walking outside, mindful eating, or journaling) by “installing” them in your subconscious, making them feel natural and easier to maintain.

Deep Relaxation & Stress Relief
Fall can sometimes feel overwhelming (school schedules, holidays, transitions). Hypnotherapy brings the nervous system into a deeply relaxed state, lowering tension and building resilience.

💛 Back-to-School Feelings 💛

👩‍🏫As the school year kicks off, our kids can carry so many emotions—excited to see friends, nervous about new routines, proud, worried… sometimes all at once.

One of the most supportive things we can do is give them space and options to share what’s on their heart. Some kids open up by talking, others through drawing or playing, and some just need a quiet snuggle to let it out.

Letting them know it’s okay to feel all the feelings reminds them they’re not alone and helps build their confidence for the year ahead.

As a parent of two boys, I understand just how hard it can be to have these talks or to get them to open up to you. Sometimes having a person to talk with is easier. I offer different ways to help them open up such as sand tray therapy, drawing, and legos to name a few. All of these are great for activating their right brain which is where many of our emotions are tucked away. 🌈✏️
