Today, we proudly celebrated Veterans Day and took time to honor the incredible men and women right here at Pecan Creek Healthcare Center who have served our country. 🌟

We are so thankful for our 2 staff members and 4 residents who bravely served and continue to inspire us with their stories, strength, and patriotism. 💙

It was a special day filled with gratitude, reflection, and heartfelt appreciation for all who have worn the uniform in service to our nation. 🇺🇸

🥜💛 Sensory Works – National Peanut Butter Lovers Month! 💛🥜

This week’s Sensory Works activity was all about celebrating National Peanut Butter Lovers Month — and it was a hit! 🥪✨

Residents had a great time learning fun facts about peanut butter and exploring different tastes and textures, including:

🍪 Graham Crackers
🌰 Shelled & Plain Peanuts

It was a deliciously fun and interactive way to engage the senses and spark great conversation! 💕

It’s that wonderful time of year again! We invite all families and friends to join us for our Annual Thanksgiving Meal on Thursday, November 20th at 5:00 PM. 🧡

Our residents and staff are looking forward to sharing this special evening together, filled with gratitude, laughter, and delicious food. We kindly ask that guests bring their favorite dessert to share — there’s always room for a little extra sweetness! 🥧🍰

🍂💛 The Gratitude Tree at Pecan Creek 💛🍂

As we enter this season of thankfulness, we’ve created a Gratitude Tree in our front lobby! 🌳✨

All visitors, residents, and staff are invited to take a leaf, write something they’re thankful for, and place it on the tree. 🍁 Each leaf adds a little more love, color, and joy to our community — reminding us just how much we have to be grateful for. 💕

We can’t wait to watch our Gratitude Tree grow throughout the month! 🧡

🍁🎃 Fall Festival Fun at Pecan Creek! 🎃🍁

We had such a wonderful time at our Fall Festival here at Pecan Creek! 🧡 The evening was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of trick-or-treaters showing off their amazing costumes. 👻✨

Our residents absolutely loved seeing all the little ghosts, superheroes, and princesses — and everyone enjoyed delicious snacks and treats together! 🍬🍪

It was the perfect way to celebrate the season with our residents, staff, and community. 💕

We want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing Activities Director, Kerri, and our wonderful BOM/HR, Jena, for all of their hard work, creativity, and dedication in making Halloween Week such a fun and memorable time for our residents, staff, and community! 👻✨

From decorating the building and planning themed dress-up days to organizing games, crafts, and our Fall Festival — these two went above and beyond to make sure every detail was filled with festive fun, laughter, and smiles. 💕
