Our sympathies go out to the family of Roy Starke during their time of loss.

Roy Starke, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with his family lovingly by his side. Roy was born on October 9, 1957 in Mansfield, the son of Marge Carol (Hardin) Starke and the late Ralph Elbert Starke. He was a Regional Sales Manager for Gates Rubber Corporation for 40 years, retiring in 2019.

Roy is survived by his mother, Marge Starke; his children, Samantha (Robert) Casey and Sean Starke; his beloved granddaughter, Lydia Roberts; and his siblings, Cynthia Starke, Ron Starke, and Rod Starke. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Starke.

Roy loved his family beyond words and was the heartbeat behind their strength and success. He was his children’s biggest cheerleader in every endeavor, proudly supporting them in all they pursued, including the local business, Healthy Hideout, where he could often be found stopping by with a smile and encouragement for everyone. He didn’t know a stranger and had a way of making every person feel welcomed.

He was the very best Dad and Papa; steady, proud, protective, and endlessly loving. His presence was a gift, and he was taken far too soon. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be left for the family at www.Webb-Noonan.com

We extend our condolences to the family of Wanda Green during this difficult time.

Wanda Mae Green, 95, peacefully entered eternal rest on February 9, 2026. She was formerly of Columbus, lived in Fort Myers Florida for 45 years and was currently residing in Cincinnati with her daughter and son-in-law. Born on February 28, 1930, Wanda was a woman of resilience, strength, and unwavering devotion. She grew up in a close-knit family as the youngest of seven children—a role she carried with pride, humor, and determination. As the baby of the family and the last surviving member of her beloved VanHoose family, she embodied a living legacy of endurance and deep-rooted love. Wanda built a distinguished career in sales, rising to become one of the top sales professionals in the nation within the moving industry. Her work ethic, charisma, and natural ability to connect with people set her apart. Later in life, she transitioned into mobile home sales, where she continued to thrive and leave a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Above all else, Wanda treasured her family. She was a devoted mother to her four children: Debbie (Brant Ross), Kelly (Sharon), Pat, and Matt (Jennifer). Her legacy extends through her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy. She loved gathering her family together, telling stories, laughing loudly, and celebrating every milestone—big or small. Wanda’s faith was central to her life. Church was not simply a place she attended; it was a community she cherished and a foundation she stood upon. She loved singing hymns, shopping with enthusiasm, taking trips to Las Vegas, and spending treasured time with her brothers, sisters, and extended family. Those who knew Wanda will remember her vibrant personality, her competitive spirit, her quick wit, and her steadfast faith. She lived fully, loved fiercely, and left a mark on every life she touched. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43213. Wanda’s son, Kelly Green, will officiate the service as family and friends gather to honor her extraordinary 95 years. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest in peace. Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in the promise of resurrection and the assurance that her story does not end here. Her life remains a testimony of perseverance, faith, and enduring love.

Our sympathies go out to the family of Bobby Rose during their time of loss.

Bobby Gene Rose, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and quiet kindness. Bobby had a gentle spirit and was a loyal follower of Christ, living his life with humility, devotion, and love for others.

Bobby was born on February 23, 1940, in Clark County, Kentucky, to Norman and Anna Clay Rose. He had three siblings—Jessie, Joyce, and Dewy. His mother passed away when Bobby was just three years old. His father later remarried Jane Rose, and their family grew to include five additional children: Doug, Scottie, Jimmy, Larry, and Judy.

A proud American, Bobby served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He especially enjoyed sharing stories from his time stationed in Japan and Cuba, recounting those years with pride.

In 1963, Bobby married Enith Haddox, and together they raised three children: Norma, Dana (Sandra), and Adam. The family made their home in Middletown, Ohio, where Bobby worked faithfully for many years at the Square D Company, retiring after a long and dedicated career. During Enith’s illness, Bobby became her devoted and compassionate caregiver, standing by her side until her passing from ALS—a testament to his unwavering love and commitment.

In 1996, God brought Bobby a new chapter of companionship when he met Debbie Scott, a fellow widower, at church. Bobby became a loving and devoted stepfather to John (Crystal) Scott, Amy (Tim) Ritzie, and Jayson (Jennifer) Scott.

One of the greatest joys of Bobby’s life was being a grandfather. He cherished time with his 11 grandchildren—Christopher, Adam, Caleb, Meredith, Chelsea, Conner, Ava, Alex, Emme, Millie, and Ally—and his six great-grandchildren—Cam, Ainsley, Cohen, Kali, Jaxon, and Georgia. His pride in his family was evident to all who knew him.

Bobby was a faithful member of Greenhills United Baptist Church, where his love for the Lord and steady presence were deeply felt. Pastor Tim Mullins will officiate his service.

In his free time, Bobby was a competitive bowler, participating in bowling leagues well into his 80s. He was also a passionate, lifelong fan of Kentucky Wildcats basketball.

In his final years, Bobby faced numerous health challenges with the same faith, resilience, and quiet strength that defined his life. His family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care and compassion shown by Dr. J. B. Winters, Mary Williams, CNP, and their dedicated office staff.

Bobby will be remembered for his gentle heart, steadfast faith, and devotion to family, as well as the calm, loving presence he brought into the lives of all who knew him. His faith in Christ guided every season of his life and was a source of strength, comfort, and hope to those around him. He now rests in the presence of his Lord and Savior, hearing the words promised in Scripture:

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
— Matthew 25:21 (KJV)

A Visitation will be held from 4pm until 6pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with a Funeral Service to follow at 6pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Burial with Military Honors will take place at 12pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton.
