Thank you to everyone who reached out in concern, regarding yesterday‘s accident during one of our funeral processions. We are grateful that the deputy involved is expected to make a full recovery. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office does an outstanding job. Their Motor Division Team is always professional, respectful, and punctual and we are blessed to work alongside them. Please continue to keep this deputy, and all law enforcement officers and first responders in your thoughts and prayers.

“Thank you, Livingston Parish. Today, one of our LPSO Motors Team Members needed your assistance. There was no hesitation, only kindness & compassion. During a funeral procession along Florida in Walker this afternoon, in order to avoid a collision, our deputy took to the ditch. He was transported to a local hospital to be checked out. His injuries are minor & he is expected to be released from the hospital today. All signs point to him making a full recovery. Walker PD is handling the crash. Our ask is that all motorists be aware of your surroundings - especially when an es**rt is in progress. Again, very appreciative of our kind Livingston Parish residents who stopped to help & for our Motors team who regrouped to complete the funeral es**rt and to provide support for one of our own.”
