We are proud to announce that on Tuesday evening, in a unanimous decision made alongside his family and fellow members, Hammonton American Legion Post #186 will now bear the name of former Commander Frank M. Calletta.

Frank's dedication to this post and our veteran community has left an indelible mark. His leadership, commitment, and passion for honoring those who served exemplify everything the American Legion stands for.

One of Frank's most cherished accomplishments was reviving our Color Guardโ€”a time-honored tradition that many posts no longer maintain. Thanks to his vision and determination, this unique initiative continues to thrive, presenting colors at events throughout our community with pride and precision.

Our Story

The year 1962 saw the beginning of the Marinella Funeral Home. Formally Macri Funeral Home, started in 1935 by William Macri, the firm was purchased by John Marinella and renamed Macri-Marinella Funeral Home. In years to come, the name was again changed for the last time to Marinella Funeral Home, Inc., which to this day, stands at its original location of 102 North Third Street in Hammonton. Since then the funeral home has undergone two renovations. The Marinella Funeral Home is a progressive outgrowth of former years.

Manager, John C. Marinella, Director, Steven J. Kincaid and Director, Nicholas B. LaGuardia staff the firm. As well as our unlicensed staff, Donald DeNucci, Arthur Sweeney and Branon J. Kincaid.

For over 55 years, the firmโ€™s crest has represented many families at need with the upmost respect and professionalism during some of the most challenging times and will continue to do so for years to come.

The Marinella Funeral Home provides limitless types of professional and personalized services. We offer a full range of pre-need and at need funeral planning, including traditional funerals, cremations, memorial services and transferring of remains worldwide.
