UPDATE:
This past Saturday, we were able to help over 230 families put fresh, healthy food on their tables by providing $45 in market tokens to each EBT customer who visited the market. The turnout was incredible, and we’re so grateful we could support so many people while SNAP funding is paused.
Because of the overwhelming response and the number of families in need, we’ve exhausted our available funds for this program and were unable to secure additional funding. As a result, we’re unable to continue the free $45 token payout at this time. However, we will still be continuing our Double Bucks program, where EBT customers can swipe their cards and we’ll match that amount up to $20. We hope to still see our EBT customers come out to shop for local food — we’ll continue doing our best to help stretch your benefits and make healthy food accessible.
In the meantime, donations are always welcome through the link in our bio or on our website to help keep this program going.Thank you to everyone who has already donated — your support truly means the world.
