David L. Sparks, of Upperco, passed peacefully March 29, 2026 at home. Born June 28, 1934 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Sherman C. Sparks, Sr. and Helen E. Sparks. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 70 years Hilda Marie Sparks.
Surviving are daughters Peggy Ann Logan, Kimberly Sparks Haldeman, and Beth Sparks King; grandchildren Joshua, Ashleigh, April, Kierstin, Hayley, Hollis, Karley, and Courtney; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday April 9, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Grace Bible Church, 3250 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102, with a service following at 11:00 am with Pastor Gregory Breen officiating. Graveside services will follow at Forest Ridge Cemetery in Upperco, MD.

Carl Echol Rhoton, 77, passed away on March 27, 2026, surrounded by family at his home in Manchester, MD. Born July 10, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Leonard and Viola (Smith) Rhoton. Beloved husband of Betty Ann (Hagan) Rhoton, with whom he would have shared 50 loving years of marriage this coming June.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his three sons, Steve Grothe, John Grothe, and Richard Grothe; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; as well as his beloved canine companion, Ladybug.
Services will remain private per Carl's request.

Joseph Patrick Warzinski, 99, passed away on March 23, 2026 in Elkridge, MD. Born June 11, 1926 in Clinton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia (Owad) Warzinski. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve Josephine Warzinski.
Surviving him are his son, Thomas Warzinski and wife, Shari; three granddaughters, Melissa Regan, Karlyn (husband, Miller)Spencer, and Megan (husband, Mike)Baird; as well as three great grandchildren, Jack Regan, Cohen Baird, and Sawyer Baird. He is predeceased in addition to his parents and wife by siblings, Pauline Zink, Mary Warzinski, Frank Warren, Paul Warzinski, Julia Hughes, and George Warzinski.
Services will remain private.

Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Norman E. "Butch" Keeney, Jr. and Nancy Keeney; nieces, Jamie Keeney and Crystal Bosley, all of Westminster, MD; six great-nieces; one great-nephew; and three great-great-nieces.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. Interment will follow in Taylorsville United Methodist Cemetery, Mount Airy, MD.

Archibald, Jr. of Arbutus, MD and Ralph Archibald of Manchester; grandchildren, Patrick Casanova, Christopher Archibald, Hannah Nickens, and Andrew Archibald; great-grandchildren, Seraphin Casanova, Reagan Archibald, Audrey Schoennagel, Charlie Nickens, Max Archibald, and Ty Archibald; and brother, John Archibald of Carney, MD. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Lucy Casanova; his son, Kenneth Archibald; and grandson, Antonio Casanova.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Greenmount United Methodist Church, 2001 Hanover Pike, Hampstead. Regina Clare Auburger (nee Phillips) peacefully passed on February 27, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Auburger, Jr., and their sons, Nicholas Auburger, Andrew Auburger and his wife, Jaime. She was a wonderful grandmother to Talia and Ezra Auburger, who proudly called her “Nini.” She was born in 1951 to the late Rita and Edward Phillips and was the youngest of their 4 children. Regina outlived all her siblings: Rita (Karen) DeBus, Kathy Marley, and Thomas Phillips. She was also sister-in-law to Dave (Bruce) and Debra Auburger, Janice and Edwin Drake, and Patricia and Lewis Pearce III. Many nieces and nephews also loved her.
A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2026 at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, Maryland. Visitation at 10am followed by memorial service at 11am. Lunch to follow.

Mary Jane Huffman, nee Wynn, departed this life on March 19, 2026 at BridgingLife Hospice at Sinai Hospital. She was 96 years old. Daughter of James L. Wynn and Elizabeth Dize, she is survived by her brothers James Wynn and Richard Wynn; her children Mark Huffman, Eugene Huffman, and Kirsten Christensen and their spouses; her Grandchildren Rebecca Waugh, Lisa Otten, Peter Huffman, Christopher Huffman, Ryan Huffman, Jeannette Huffman, Courtney Black, and Paige Christensen; her great-grandchildren Milo and Sophie Waugh; and loving friends, neighbors, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Edward Huffman and her son Scott Huffman. Mary Jane was a member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church. A private remembrance will be planned in the future. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Carole Felt Carroll, an impresario of fun and an ardent supporter and advocate of the arts and philanthropy in Baltimore, passed away on March 19, 2026. She was a leader in pioneering and energizing many events and organizations, including the Night of 100 Elvises, the Baltimore Blues Festival, and the Hungry for Music charity. Ms. Carroll died at Northwest Hospital after a brief illness, with friends in attendance; she was 74.
She is survived by her husband of more than 30 years, Craig Curley, of Glyndon, MD; brother Michael Felt of Houston; niece Elizabeth Wiles of Columbia, MD; and the thousands of funlovers who benefited from her magic.
A Memorial Service will be held in April at Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD and St. John's Church Western Run in Reisterstown, MD; updated service information can be found at https://www.nightof100elvises.com/home and https://www.stjohnswrp.org/. Harriett Catherine "Kitty" Shaffer, 81, of Hampstead, MD passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sons, Bradley Shaffer and his wife Katy of Hampstead, Bryan Shaffer of Westminster; daughter, Paula Shaffer of Hampstead; grandchildren, Chelsea, Casey, Nathan, Brooke, Emma, Keith; great-grandson, Reid; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Clarence "Toby" Tyler.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 3100 Shiloh Road, Hampstead with the Rev. Darryl Zoller officiating. Inurnment in the church cemetery will be at a later date.

George Richard Scaletta, 75, of Hampstead, MD passed away on March 17, 2026 at his residence in Hampstead, MD. Born January 24, 1951 in Rockville, MD, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Ice) Scaletta. Beloved husband of Shirl Constance (Kaiser) Scaletta.
Surviving are his two sons, Darryl R. (Stephanie) Scaletta and Kenneth Harrell; a daughter, Kimberly R. (Ryan) Cook; three brothers, Billy Scaletta, Michael Scaletta, and Tony Scaletta; two grandchildren, Maggie (Justin) Snare and Logan Cook; and a great granddaughter on the way, Ellie Snare.
The family will accept guests for visitations held Monday, March 23, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main St., Hampstead, MD 21074. A funeral service will begin at the start of the second visitation, at 6:00 PM.
