Peace, comfort, and a space to heal. ❤️

We create an environment where individuals feel safe, seen, valued, and at ease.

Cozy spaces, soft lighting, calm touches like a warm candle, a Buddha, and books all help support reflection, mindfulness, and emotional restoration. ☮️

These moments of calm are part of the journey to reconnect with yourself, one step at a time.

Take the first step. ☀️

We love sharing our founder, Jack, who is at the heart of all we do. ❤️🙏

Jack always believed that every person is both capable and deserving of change. He would often say, “Give ‘em a chance, you never know when they’re going to get it.” Today, as a family-owned and operated facility, Long Island Center for Recovery carries that spirit forward. 🕊️

We are proud to be a place built by us, for people just like us, helping others find their own path to recovery. 🌟

Loop by loop, connection grows. 🌟

At Long Island Center for Recovery, healing doesn’t always happen in a traditional group session. Sometimes, it happens one stitch at a time.

Our crochet group has become a cherished space for mindfulness, laughter, and shared support. Beginners and experienced crafters alike find calm, connection, and a sense of accomplishment as they create scarves, blankets, and more. Each loop becomes a reminder of patience, perseverance, and progress.

It’s more than a craft. It’s community. It’s growth. It’s recovery. 💐

Easy Does It.

Our 12-Step Fellowship teaches us that recovery isn’t about rushing or doing it perfectly. It’s about leaning on support and taking one step at a time. 💜

AA slogans like this one are more than words, they are small reminders to be gentle with yourself, stay grounded, and trust the process.

Sometimes, recovery tastes like comfort food. 🍔

Enjoy meals made with care. Think juicy bacon cheeseburgers and crispy chip fries. Delicious! 🍟

Because healing isn’t just about treatment, it’s also about moments that feel like home.

We love reading through our guestbooks, where stories, inspiration, and reflection live, and now we will begin sharing with you! ❤️

Dear L.I.C.R.
To all the T.A.’s, Nurses, Counselors and Housing Staff,
This was the best experience of my life. I’ve learned soo much here to take with me on the outside and if it wasn’t for you’s I wouldn’t have the knowledge I have now to stay clean and sober. Most of all I wanna thank all the patients that were here with me cause each and every one of you made me stronger and you’s all showed me so much. Love I’ll never forget these 28 days till the day I die. You weren’t patients you were my brothers and sisters as family. I learned something different from each of you and will use.

We keep it simple

We understand that addiction treatment is not one size fits all. Recovery is personal. It carries different stories, different challenges, and different hopes. ☀️🌙

That is why our drug and alcohol addiction treatment services are built to meet each client where they are.

For some, the journey begins with medically supervised detox to safely manage withdrawal. From there, many transition into structured inpatient rehab where therapy, skill building, and long-term recovery planning take shape.

Our team of licensed clinicians, medical professionals, counselors, and wellness specialists work together to care for physical and mental well-being. ❤️

If you or someone you love is thinking about treatment, this can be your starting point.

Meet Miss Patty ☃️💗

In Loving Memory of Patty’s warmth, joy and uplifting spirit. 🫶🏻✨

This sparked laughter, teamwork, and a sense of light-hearted fun.

Moments like these remind us that recovery is not only about hard work and healing, but also about rediscovering joy, playfulness, and connection with others. Sharing childlike moments, laughing, creating something together, and simply being present, helps build trust, strengthen community, and reinforce that recovery can include happiness and genuine human connection. ⛄️

Even on the coldest days, warmth can be found in shared experiences.❄️☀️
