As we step into 2026, I’m filled with gratitude, hope, and excitement. This past year has been full of growth, healing, transformation, and so many powerful victories both seen and unseen. Don’t rush your journey trying to match someone else’s chapter. Stay focused, stay patient, and keep showing up for YOU. Staying in Zone 2 is one of the biggest game-changers for runners. If you can hold a conversation while you’re running, you’re probably in the right zone. This is where endurance is built, fat burning happens, and running actually becomes enjoyable instead of exhausting. Slow isn’t weak it’s smart, sustainable progress. Stay patient, stay consistent, and trust the zone.

If you’re new to running, zone training can be a total game-changer. Most beginners accidentally run too hard every time, which leads to burnout, frustration, and injuries. Focusing on the right heart rate zone (especially Zone 2) helps you build endurance safely, protect your body, and actually enjoy running. ⚕️ When Should You See Your Doctor About Weight Loss? ⚕️

If you’re truly eating in a calorie deficit, moving your body, staying consistent… and you’re STILL not seeing progress after several months, it may not be “willpower.” Sometimes it’s medical. Sometimes it’s hormonal. Sometimes it’s metabolic. And sometimes your body is trying to tell you something important.

This graphic highlights situations where it’s important to talk with your healthcare provider things like:
👉 Not losing after 3–6 months of a TRUE calorie deficit with movement
👉 Unexplained weight gain or swelling
👉 Severe fatigue, sleep apnea, or snoring
👉 Hair loss, always being cold, or menstrual changes
👉 Medications that may cause weight gain
👉 Conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, thyroid issues, menopause changes, chronic pain, depression, and more

Here’s the most important part ⬇️
Seeing a doctor is NOT failure. It’s self-advocacy. It’s self-care. It’s choosing to understand your body instead of blaming it.
