The basic stages of counseling are:

1) Developing the client/clinician relationship 2) Clarifying and assessing the presenting problem or situation
3) Identifying and setting goals (s&L)
4) Designing and implementing interventions
5) Planning, care coordination with other providers involved in client care, discharge, and follow-up.

Take life one day at a time; set short & long-term personal and work goals... develop skills to make goals obtainable and keep progressing; don't give up over faltering because we are human and life happens... ohh, and find a hobby or activity that you enjoy so you can fill yourself up daily 😉
