Today, we invite you to meet our ADON, Karissa Barlow.

From starting as a brand-new cart nurse in 2006 to becoming our ADON in 2024, Karissa Barlow's journey is nothing short of inspiring. Over the years she’s worn many hats including Charge Nurse, MDS, Skilled Care Coordinator (running an 8-year deficiency-free unit!), Unit Manager, Infection Preventionist, and now ADON.

Her passion for long-term care shines through in everything she does. She loves educating staff, building meaningful relationships with residents, and continually growing in her career. We’re so grateful for her dedication, leadership, and heart.

Activity Director Shawn Hill is still accepting donations for his 9th Annual Back-to-School Celebration. Members of the community can pick up school supplies from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 30 in our parking lot behind the building. Last year, more than 40 students received a full slate of supplies, including back packs, snacks, pencils, crayons and more. Donations can be dropped off at our facility and are also being accepted via CashApp at $taehill1987.
