Leaders from across Hampton Roads gathered at Rivers Casino Portsmouth for Breaking Down Barriers in Tech Employment, an evening of networking and conversation focused on expanding access and opportunity in the tech workforce.

The event featured a panel discussion with Shawn Avery, President & CEO of the Hampton Roads Workforce Council, Johnny Garcia, CEO of Simis, Inc, and Kasia Grzelkowski, President & CEO of VersAbility Resources. The discussion was moderated by Blair Durham, Co-Founder & CEO of Black BRAND, with Francesca Garcia Moncion, Board Member of the Hispanic Chamber of Coastal Virginia, serving as emcee.
